Tammy Tompkins

Tammy Tompkins serves as chief legal officer of Neumora. With more than 25 years of legal and operational experience as well as extensive knowledge of the biotechnology industry, Tammy most recently served as general counsel of UNITY Biotechnology. There, she served on the executive team, helped manage the company’s IPO, and built the legal, intellectual property and compliance teams.

Prior to UNITY, Tammy served as an operating partner, general counsel and chief administrative officer of Khosla Ventures, where she oversaw legal matters related to investments and funds; managed operational, investor relations and human resource matters; and served on the boards of several KV portfolio companies. Prior to Khosla Ventures, Tammy served as the general counsel of Amyris and spent 10 years in private practice, including with Shearman & Sterling, Morgan Lewis and Brobeck and Phleger & Harrison.

Tammy holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
