Stefan Bluemmers, MBA, M.D.

Dr. Stefan Bluemmers serves as Neumora’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and Portfolio Management, where he leads strategy and execution across the Company’s development programs. He brings more than two decades of experience as a physician, drug developer, entrepreneur and consultant across strategy, business development, clinical development and commercialization. Prior to joining Neumora, Dr. Bluemmers was Managing Director and Head of Advisory at Kybora, where he expanded the company’s global transactional and advisory business across U.S. and European markets. Previously, he held several leadership roles, serving as Head of Program and Portfolio Management at Albireo Pharmaceuticals from 2022 to 2023, President and CEO of Blue Therapeutics from 2020 to 2022, and Senior Vice President, New Products, Latin America And Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Development at Grünenthal from 2009 to 2020. Dr. Bluemmers holds an MBA in Health Economics from EBS University of Business and Law (Germany) and an M.D. from the University of Cologne.
