Raj Manchanda, Ph.D.

Dr. Manchanda serves as Chief Technical Operations Officer at Neumora. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Manchanda has held several leadership roles on global cross-functional CMC teams and has worked on more than 25 INDs and 6 NDAs, including two drug development programs that received Fast Track designation from the FDA, ultimately enabling important medicines to reach patients in need.  

Prior to Neumora, Dr. Manchanda was most recently Chief Development Officer at Anokion where he led all aspects of technical operations including CMC and drug development activities for novel complex molecules intended to treat autoimmune diseases. Prior to Anokion, Dr. Manchanda was Chief Development Officer at Frequency Therapeutics where he and his teams were responsible for drug development and manufacturing, portfolio and project management, infrastructure-building, and execution of global clinical development and regulatory strategy. Earlier in his career, Dr. Manchanda held leadership positions at Biogen, Diatide, Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, Perkin Elmer Life and Analytical Sciences and URL Pharmaceuticals.  

Dr. Manchanda received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yale University and was an Anna Fuller postdoctoral fellow at MIT. He also completed Advanced Management Program from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
