David Phillips, MBA

David Phillips serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Quality at Neumora, where he leads enterprise quality strategy across clinical development, manufacturing and regulatory operations. Mr. Phillips is responsible for ensuring phase-appropriate GxP compliance, inspection readiness and a strong quality culture that supports Neumora’s pipeline advancement and future commercialization. He brings more than 30 years of quality leadership experience across biotechnology, pharmaceutical and contract manufacturing organizations. Prior to joining Neumora, he held senior quality leadership roles at Vor Bio, Beam Therapeutics and Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, where he built and scaled quality organizations supporting IND filings, early clinical programs and complex manufacturing strategies, including gene and cell therapies and biologics. Earlier in his career, he served in senior global quality roles at Shire and Lonza Biologics, with extensive experience leading regulatory inspections and facility startups. Mr. Phillips holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Polymer Chemistry and an MBA in New Product Development and Project Management, both from North Carolina State University.
